Product Selection and Accuracy
It is your responsibility to ensure the accuracy of your product selection, finishes, and quantities on your order with Eichholtz Manhattan. Please review your order carefully before confirming.
Payments and Deposits
We accept American Express, Visa, and MasterCard for online purchases. Payments will be processed at the time of placing your order.
Revisions, Cancellations, and Returns
We will gladly adjust or cancel your order within 48 hours of placement, as long as the order has not yet been confirmed or shipped. Cancellations after this period will incur a 5% processing fee, along with any other charges that may have been incurred. After 48 hours, orders cannot be canceled. However, if you no longer wish to receive the items, please refer to our **Returns & Refunds** section. Please note that any changes to your order may result in additional fees if the product prices vary based on size or finish. If your adjusted order results in a lower total than the original amount, we will issue store credit or a refund. Please note that store credit is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Once an order is confirmed or shipped, changes or cancellations are no longer possible. If you no longer need the products after they’ve been delivered, please refer to the Returns & Refunds section.
Cancellation Fees
If you choose to cancel an order after 48 hours, there will be a 50% cancellation fee. Any amounts paid above the 50% cancellation fee will be issued as store credit, which is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Once items have been delivered or picked up, no returns, exchanges, or refunds will be accepted.
Final Sale Items
All clearance, in-stock sales, and floor models are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded.
Product Lead Times
Product lead times vary depending on the item, ranging from 2 to 24 weeks. Lead times are estimates only. If you order multiple items with different lead times, the full order will be delivered based on the longest lead time. If you prefer some items to be delivered sooner, separate delivery fees will apply. While we strive to meet estimated delivery times, delays may occur due to factors beyond our control, such as manufacturing delays, freight issues, or unforeseen circumstances. Eichholtz Manhattan cannot be held responsible for delays caused by external factors. Estimated dates are tentative and cannot be grounds for order cancellation. Receiving Your Order & Packing Slip
All orders must be paid in full prior to scheduling delivery. Deliveries are handled by an insured third-party provider. Additional fees may apply for missed deliveries or for deliveries up or down more than two standard flights of stairs. Our delivery teams are only authorized to deliver the purchased merchandise and cannot move existing furniture or items.
It is your responsibility to ensure that purchased items will fit through all entryways and delivery paths. If you are unsure, please ask for package dimensions prior to your order. Any damage to items must be reported at the time of delivery; otherwise, claims will not be accepted.
If a third party (such as a doorman, family member, or friend) accepts delivery on your behalf, you are still responsible for confirming the condition of the merchandise. Please inspect all items carefully upon delivery and ensure that any issues are noted on the packing slip before the delivery team leaves. If you fail to note damage or discrepancies on the packing slip, Eichholtz Manhattan will not be liable for the issue.
Storage Fees
All orders must be paid in full within 10 days of arrival at our warehouse, and picked up or delivered within 30 calendar days. If items are stored for longer than 30 days, a storage fee of $10 per day will apply. Storage fees must be paid before delivery or pickup. Orders not claimed within six months will be deemed canceled and subject to our cancellation policy.
Delivery and Pickup
We cannot accommodate post office box addresses or freight forwarding services for delivery. Delivery charges are based on the distance from our New York location, and additional fees may apply for long-distance deliveries (more than 50 miles from NYC). For such deliveries, we offer curbside delivery, where the merchandise will be dropped off at the sidewalk, and it will be the customer's responsibility to move the items inside the home.
Merchandise that is picked up from our store or warehouse is subject to a minimum wait time of 1 to 2 weeks from warehouse arrival. If the merchandise is not picked up within 7 days of arrival, a storage fee of $50 per week will apply.
Wall Mounting
Our delivery teams are not authorized or insured to mount or install items on your walls, nor do we connect or disconnect any media equipment.
Warranty
All Eichholtz products come with a standard one-year warranty from the date of delivery. The warranty covers defects in manufacturing but does not apply to misuse, mishandling, or general wear and tear. Floor models and clearance items are not covered by the standard warranty. Any modification or self-assembly will void the warranty. The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
Disclaimers
Eichholtz Manhattan is not liable for damages that occur during shipping, though we will make every effort to repair or replace damaged items at our discretion. Product finishes may vary slightly in color and texture from samples, and natural materials like wood may show grain inconsistencies or knots, which are not considered defects.
Only specified Eichholtz products are suitable for commercial applications.
